Sophie Lanigan Projects is a studio working across strategic communications, research and design - guided by a belief in design as a cultural expression and environmental response. It is based on the lands, waters and skies of the Gadigal, Bidjigal and Birrabirragal people. Our approach is to;

Clarify

Collaborating with architects, institutions, and climate-aligned organisations to shape complex ideas into compelling narratives and meaningful projects. The work spans competition strategy, coastal adaption research, editorial development, and installation design.

Position

Communications, research and design projects are aligned with opportunity - helping practices frame their work in response to shifting cultural, political, and environmental landscapes.

Engage

Every project is tailored as we work closely with clients to develop the right strategy for each audience, always informed by a deep understanding of design and an eye on the future. We develop public-facing narratives, events and editorial work that connects people to place, and design to dialogue. With a particular interest in projects that address climate, coastlines and culture.
