Sophie Lanigan Projects is a research-led design studio working across spatial strategy, editorial development, education, and cultural programming. The practice brings together built work, publications, exhibitions, and research focused on design, the coast, and contemporary culture.

The practice was established in Sydney in 2017 by Sophie Lanigan. She holds a PhD in Architecture from the University of Cambridge, examining oysters, urban seascapes, and the potential of design to mediate rising coastlines, as well as an MA in Critical Theory from the Architectural Association in London and a Bachelor of Architecture from the University of Sydney.

Sophie also directs Studio Index, a strategic communications practice for an ambitious built environment.
